Plans

Again, I’m trying out blogging by e-mail from my phone (a Nokia E71). I can’t seem to get the photo to insert. The program only allows me to attach. So I don’t know if the photo will appear in this post.

Anyway, I’ve committed to writing my morning pages (The Artist’s Way), taking part in the Art Therapy group on Gary Reef’s ning site and the 75 Ways to Draw More challenge, and started a Scanner Day book.

Whew! Are there enough hours in the day? There never seems to be enough time to pursue the things I really want to and I sometimes end up going to bed at 2:00 a.m.

It’s a good thing I’ve been collecting sketchbooks and journals.

I’m a Renaissance Soul

The Renaissance Soul: Life Design for People with Too many Passions to Pick Just One, by Margaret Lobenstine, perfectly describes me.

Even though I’ve got my Focal Points sorted,  I still struggle when I transition from paying, ‘other’ work to creating my work; but my plan, developed according to the book, is helping me to stay focused.

That’s my mantra for January – FOCUS!
